We got similar here -- the university as a whole pays like shit -- did I ever mention here what my co-worker DBA got offered at UT?

My company pays well, but for my job class, they did an evaluation and gave us 8% a few years ago just to re-baseline us to the industry to significantly more than median US wage.

My coworker before she got this job, applied to be a Senior DBA for the Haslam School of Business at UT. Her offer was 45k.
That's insulting and shockingly not competitive. I don't know how they employ anyone or have anything approaching a working system if that's the baseline wage rate for employees.
