"i dont get the Hurts hate by "insiders" the man was #2 in MVP voting (probably twice) last year. Also the Herbert love, since well, he hasnt done anything nearly as good as the other 4.

I suspect that people want Hurts to do it a second time before they fully buy in. I have confidence he will, though.

Herbert is challenging in that he's a highly regarded, well-graded QB on a team that has perennially underachieved in the playoffs, going back to the Don Coryell era.
Herbert led his team to 30 points in a playoff game. He was efficient and made no turnovers. His team just choked. PFF had him as the 10th best passer, with one of the people better than him retiring. I'd probably put him in Tier 1, but it's a judgment call.
