The material is less soft, doesn't hold up and they're not cut as well. They used to make decent basic clothes at a fairly cheap price. -- (edited)

For years now things have been bad and I don't know if they really care as I'm not sure sales have taken a big enough hit. They're not going to get better as many brands raced to the bottom in making things faster and cheaper.
Also, they're not good looking clothes. There are lots of brands that are both affordable and stylish. Old Navy is not one of them.
