as to your IM, it is fundamentally uncurious about so much of the Manhattan Project that it feels almost like an afterthought to all the red-bating

stuff (the armchair psychologist in me thinks Nolan is more interested in why such a Super Genius ended up persecuted by the country he so gallantly served, because it's not really about Oppenheimer at all)
