If any of these charges get to trial prior to the election (I would estimate a 75% chance that at least one of these does), I think he will be -- (edited)

convicted. It will then be stayed pending appeal and we'll have our election. It will be far closer than any rational human being would think it should be, but he will lose. I don't really know about jail. I really wonder what considerations or arrangements would be made for a dealing with a former president being put in jail. He's entitled to secret service protection. Do we put them in jail with him?
A house arrest would not shock me. He's not going to suffer as much as he should (but he'll still be humiliated). He will continue to be a thorn in the side of this country until he dies.
