Ohio’s special election today is easily the most confusing of my adult life. I guarantee people don’t know what they’re voting for.

Issue 1 has been put in place and is the only thing on the ballot.
If it passes, a 60% vote will be required to change the Ohio constitution. Basically it would lock in the recent abortion ban.
However, no matter what signs you see, vote yes or vote no, they both basically say ‘protect the constitution’. I’ve seen liberal people on social media arguing that you should vote yes to make it harder for outside money to change policy in the future. Some television ads have been pretty clear and others have been purposely deceptive.
I guarantee there are people voting both yes and no that are going to get very different results than what they expect and are voting for if they win.
