Below Deck Down Under was pretty crazy last night (spoilers and way longer than I meant when I started typing)

Luke (the bosun) gave rapey vibes from the start. For example, on their first night out he pulled a trick on Margot (the third stew) by telling her she had a loose eyelash and to close her eyes so he could get it. When she closed her eyes, he kissed her. Not the most horrible thing in the world, but still kissing her without giving her the chance to consent. (Not that he had to explicitly ask permission but if her eyes were open she could have backed away.)

Margot didn't seem very upset about it and actually continued flirting and kissing Luke. So on last night's episode they were on another night out, and Margot got very drunk (if not blackout drunk, then very close).

When they got back to the boat, Aesha (the chief stew) had concerns about how Luke (who was also pretty drunk) was acting towards Margot, so she personally helped Margot to bed to sleep it off and the idea was the other crew members were going to continue the evening in the hot tub or what not.

There was a brief power outage. During the outage Luke, who was completely naked, climbed into the passed out Margot's bed. Producer(s) and Cameraperson(s) noticed very quickly and stepped in to remove Luke from her bed. They had to mildly physically remove him from her bed and cabin.

When Aesha found out what happened, she woke up the Captain. He sent Luke off the boat for the evening. The next morning he called Luke back to the boat to officially fire him.

Then there is Laura (the second stew) who has been making advances towards Adam (a deckhand). This has been going on for a few days ranging from some general flirting up to a request for sex. Adam has been explicitly rejecting her, but has been polite about it.

So that same evening, she is getting more aggressive towards Adam; trying to kiss him, grabbing at his crotch, etc. He continues to say no. After the night out they are in the hottub with other crew members and she is continuing to climb all over him, etc. He finally declares he is going to bed and is going to lock the cabin door. (He doesn't lock the door because his roommate is staying in the hottub.) Laura offers to give him a massage, which he explicitly rejects. So now he's in his bed and Laura comes into the room. She starts to put some lotion on his back and climbing up on him. Again, Producer(s) and Cameraperson(s) intervene to tell her she has to leave the cabin.

The next day there is a crew meeting to tell everyone that Luke has been fired and why. Everyone is in total agreement with the decision and support Margot... except for Laura. She goes on and on about how it was unfair and that it should have been a warning. She even tells Margot that Luke should have come to her cabin because she would have made him happy. She also heavily implies that Margot was sending Luke signals so his behavior was okay. (Oh Luke and Laura have already slept together.)

So Margo talks to Aesha about the things Laura is saying. Aesha then also talks to Adam because she has noticed Laura's behavior towards him. He admits it makes him uncomfortable, but he doesn't want to get her in trouble.

Aesha relays both of these things to the Captain. He confirms with both Margot and Adam, and then fires Laura.
