it's Pixar's process that takes longer than the other studios. it's the process that produces billion-dollar home runs 3 out of 4 times

and the Spiderverse budgets are ballooning over $100m+ now because Phil Lord works largely the same way

most of the old brain-trust are gone, Disney just wants their sequels. at some point are you even Pixar anymore if you're not the thing they bought in
