Eminently infuriating. Similar things happening here in Oregon, and I've been working with a great organization - IRCO. -- (edited)

Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization. They act as a focal point for anyone who is a refugee, asylee, or immigrant. They provide their own services, but they also partner with just about every other nonprofit in the area in some way.
I dunno if you have a similar organization out there in Massachusetts, but that's a nonprofit organization I would try to seek out. Or start, if it doesn't yet exist.
The infuriating part about Oregon has been the immense public outcry backed by extraordinarily little actual action.
