I'm not saying it can't exist. I'm waiting to hear it. I've asked for it numerous times, and all I get is the Sommerville nonsense.

Yes, I feel it's nonsense. I assure you that if the basis for *allowing* SSM was something as nebulous as cultural value, I'd call that nonsense too.
I've heard lots of stuff about respecting others beliefs and cultural value mumbo-jumbo, but nothing address the inheirent unfairness of not allowing a certain segment of the population the rights that the majority have.
