ones setting the agenda, tone and baseline expectations of every issue. Democrats are always having to respond to bullshit narratives even if they try to get their message out. It really started with Fox News, but it continues despite waning viewership alternative outlets (social media), etc. Largely just the loudest, most extreme voices get the most attention versus basic reality and understanding of the issues. It's incredibly frustrating but I really don't have the answer of how to effectively counter it.
