So if I was somehow blessed enough to win one of the I'm guessing is far fewer than 500 tickets available to public, should I pay the 2 x $1000 for a pair?

I've been to Neil's Bridge School shows before they're usually a lot better than expected from unannounced guests. if you get a $1000 tax write off GO -- nm

also, I just got a guitar back today that had the pups changed. now it has a 59 paf neck & 63 firebird bridge. same setup as Neil. -- nm

D'Urbano seems to be the only pickup maker who wanted to study & copy Neil's to get them right so you can get a matched pair. -- (link)
