you know how a can of coke will sweat when you take it out of the fridge? Dew Point is the temperature that anything below that will do that at

when it's humid, the dew point "goes up" because the air can't hold as much moisture. That's the chemistry of it but it's a measure of how "comfortable" things are, and how good the air is at absorbing heat from you.
