It helps that they were so lovely.
"Dad" is this GIANT bodybuilder guy, wearing a tank top, showing off all his tattoos. His one forearm was covered with a tattoo of a cat - one he lost a couple years ago and he said the cat had been his "best friend" and he needed to honour him. Seeing him cuddle up with Pancake was pretty sweet.
They have two other young cats from rescues and they were so clearly trying to show us how much they would care for her. They had pictures of a spare room set up so she had a place to feel safe when she first got home, etc.
I found out that they were actually supposed to have a meet and greet with a *different* kitten on Friday night (today), but he saw Pancake yesterday, it must have only been an hour after her posting went up and he called his wife, and said "There is no way this kitten was on the site yesterday, I would have noticed her - this is our kitten" and then asked to meet her asap.
I feel like that was all very much meant to be. So, one down, 4 to go....

That's lovely. It's also a variant of how we got Koko. They promised to keep you in the loop, right? -- nm

What you're doing is wonderful as it's not easy to watch them go to other homes. I'm happy Pancake is going to a loving family. :-) -- nm
