no, but that's the clever position of a conservative. they can have a sliding scale to make you sound crazy for questioning their standard.

"no, of course i don't want to just kill someone because they are brown and crossing the border, what a wild thing to accuse me of".. but will still vote for a person that wants to enact that as a standard.
and it's also not fair to paint every conservative as bloodthirsty - i think there is a lot of sitting on their hands, continuing to ignore red flags for their candidates, but a lot of them are just dealing with black and white, not nuance to situations.
i don't want to defend conservatives, but painting every one of them as fascists does close the door to getting them to move over to a more reasonable stance. they dig in, feel persecuted, and start acting more irrational than before in response.
