as much as the library of alexandria was burned (though currently there is an article about how it was basically an empty shell as it had been defunded and dispersed, ignored and left to rot.
our whole current and near future generation 'presence' will likely disappear, at least most of our personal records, as its all digital on company servers. on devices that won't be able to be read in a few years.
we can find old glass plate photos, even hold film strips to a light to see there's something there.
letters and parchment paper is often found in escavations.
but when we die, most of our words, our images, thoughts and music will disappear, deleted as our subscriptions are not paid and expunged, as devices are no longer supported or even recognized as 'something'
