you'll get it back eventually. it'll take a fair while, but it'll come back. 1) it's accounting. they can't just keep the money. the account has to go

to zero. 2) I know many people who received checks back for overpayments they didn't know they had made. they then stopped paying and received additional overpayment checks for the additional timeframe.
the indignation to me is that they just keep taking money. like, you're on autopay and your balance is negative. why doesn't the overpayment stop? you have to MANUALLY go in and stop the autodebit to get it to stop charging you on a fully satisfied loan.
