"During a 2015 viewing of “Jaws,” which was filmed around Martha’s Vineyard around the time of the woman’s murder, Joe Hill, Stephen King’s son, noticed an extra who looked similar to the description of the Lady of the Dunes. His theory catapulted the case back into the spotlight, turning the Lady of the Dunes into one of true crime’s best-known unsolved cases. (It was never confirmed that she was that extra in “Jaws,” however.)"
