Am I the only one who thinks there is a non-zero chance that the whole Punk thing is a work? It’s all very suspicious.

Right before the ppl in Chicago. A statement by TK played in Chicago making statements that lawyers would generally advise against in this situation. Generally there is no reason to make a public statement that he’’s fired for cause or that you felt threatened. It creates a risk of a defamation claim and an ongoing back and forth that will not look good. You generally tell the party and move on with just a statement that based on the incident and investigation you’ve decided to part ways. Period. Or you reach a settlement and state that you’ve mutually agreed to part ways. I would not be shocked if Punk shows up Sunday with some outsider angle. I could be completely wrong, but I wouldn’t be shocked one bit.
