of the press at that time and how that might have affected their voting. As far as baseball, I really only know the stats and the stories that we've been told about the players, coaches, managers and owners.
I want to believe they respected his game and recognized the greatness they were witnessing on a nightly and yearly basis. But then how does he only end up with one MVP?
