I rented out my apt on craigslist for football game weekends in grad school. strangely

I would be much more likely to do that again than airbnb. airbnb doesn't really vet renters. I was able to when people emailed inquiry. I only rented to people who used proper grammar, complete sentences, told me who they were and why they were coming and with whom.

I am renting my attic to an artist for arts fest next year using the artists' email list. hotels are like $500 per night. it's gross. I'll charge almost nothing.
