I believe the alcohol piece. I suspected it when he hurt his hand once and had no explanation. Felt weird.

He showed up for taping with his hand all wrapped and bandaged. His on air explanation was that he broke a glass or something. At the time, i thought "he was drunk".
He used to do shots with guests and talk about drinking all the time. I can totally see it.
