on Royal Caribbean and Norwegian, MrsJax usually goes onto the cruise packages and you can *usually* order a bottle of alcohol for your room to be delivered on the 1st day.

For example, she orders a liter of Skyy Vodka. It's like $110 (so like 10 drinks overall), and she'll drink vodka & sodas most of the time. Then she gets the soda package for like $8/day and gets soda from the bar.

She ordered one of these things and carries the vodka around the ship with her and just tops off the soda all day.
