My oldest was 1 when it happened. I don't think he has any frame of reference for the meaning of it. We were pregnant when 9/11 happened but

miscarried that week. We had our second in late 2002. Oddly, she maybe has a better appreciation of it just because of her personality. She's latched onto Come From Away (being musical and all that) but she also was with my a couple years back when we went to the 9/11 memorial and saw my emotions firsthand. I was grateful that she was able to share that with me
