Hertz still sucks.

The getting locked in is something special though for the two women. Damn near everyone that has ridden in my car tries to open the door with the mechanical release that is right there on the arm rest. I have to tell them to use the button also on the arm rest.

It used to matter because the mechanical release wouldn't drop the windows to clear the trim (frameless windows seal under the trim), but it does now. It wouldn't drop the windows if the car has no power but the door would still open at the expense of scratching the trim.

Beyond that, this is Hertz not properly preparing their renters for driving a car that absolutely has a learning curve. And bulk purchasing adapters for CCS for the vehicles cannot possibly be so expensive to warrant not providing them.
