He was a farmer and traveling salesman most of his life, and the guy certainly knew hotels. He admired the hell out of Conrad Hilton, too.

I couldn't afford to stay there on road trips to Chicago back in the day, but I don't think I will stay anywhere else whenever I visit Chicago.
