That's a good question. And I think the answer is, because it's a go-anywhere-fast floating condo.

Plus, the motors are pricey. The materials are pricey. The skill to pull it all together is pricey. And they generally hold their resale value for around a decade, so this one has seven years left.
But to buy this one at this price and own it for a decade, you'd be looking at selling it for $300-400K USD in 2033. Maybe less.
And also because it's a bit overpriced.
