Mesh sneakers don't get nearly as clean as leather and if it's suede you're going to need to get a suede cleaning brush and kit as the water can/will

damage the suede. I don't usually clean suede with liquids, just a couple of brushes. It has to be quite dirty for me to use a cleaning solution on suede.
Mesh is hard to get clean as you can't really get in between all of the bits of the mesh. You can get them close to bright again but never back to looking close to new.
