I still think they should adopt rugby-style conversions instead of the extra point -- (edited)

where a free kick is taken from the lateral position of where the try/touchdown is scored, so if you sneak in at the corner, congrats, your kicker has to attempt the extra point from the sideline (or as close within the sideline as allows the formation, if not a free kick)
