there is a reason that mutual aid and solidarity movements are the most effective. corporate charity is just another PR and tax tool. pandering to gay people is just another sales and PR tool.

if you want to see some hope, get in the trenches with people fighting for food and housing rights. it's good work, it's hopeful work and it subverts everything political parties are trying to do.
