The owners, too, but who cares about them.
I shall miss the regal black tomcat (whom I called Van, short for Vantablack) and his little orange spotted sidekick (whom I called Pete, short for Petechiae).
Whenever one of them saw me through the front window, he would being meowing and walk toward me inasmuch as the window permitted. I was then to tap on the glass so he could bat futilely at my finger. It was a whole routine.
