I imagine Microsoft wants Game Pass on Google TV but the TVs and Chromecast aren’t powerful enough to run the games.

But as Microsoft beefs up Xbox Cloud Gaming that’ll become moot. PS Play is only a way to stream-play your games from a PlayStation in another room to this room. Xbox has done that for years. My daughter used to play the Xbox via the Xbox app on the computer since we were watching the TV.
