IYC: This will be the first year since 1958 that a college basketball player can wear the numbers 6, 7, 8, or 9 on their jersey.

I don't think many people realized that those numbers were banned on jerseys in college to make things easier for the refs in signaling to the scoring table.
The big question is: how many players will wear the number 69?

That would seem to work. They could always just tell the scorer either by walking over as they tend to do or just a mic clipped to them that goes to
