We just watched the Winning Time finale. (mild spoiler if you don't know mid-80s basketball history)

which ended with a loss in game 7 of the NBA Finals to Boston.
They did that because they were (naively) confident that HBO would renew its high-quality program.
That's the song they played at the end as they caught up with 40 years of Lakers history they didn't get to cover as planned.
