Tomorrow is the first day of classes (I know, we start late). I’ve busted my hump for 3 months to get here.

We work hard so that when classes start, we’re invisible. I’m confident we’ll achieve this again. This feels like a true accomplishment.

Too often in my career I’ve felt like it’s just been only long run-on sentence. Lately, it’s felt more like I’ve been turning pages and completing chapters.

A few weeks back I brought a project to a close and I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do. Do we have champagne? Should I tell someone? Is there a tote board where I can tally a score? Maybe we should have another meeting? Does anyone have anything left to say? Nope. We were just done.

It’s taken a long time to get here, but I feel really good about this.
