As a member of the Disney+ community, and in advance of the launch of two new plan options, including an ad-supported plan on Disney+, we wanted to let you know that we are making some corresponding updates to our Subscriber Agreement. In addition, we are implementing restrictions on account sharing. We also took the opportunity to streamline some of our terms to make them even easier to read and to update some of our other terms to reflect changes to applicable laws or features of our service.
For existing subscribers, the updated Subscriber Agreement will be effective beginning on November 1, 2023, except for annual subscribers in Quebec, for whom the updated Subscriber Agreement will be effective on their next billing date, on or after November 1, 2023.
If you request to switch to a different plan option before the date when the updated Subscriber Agreement would normally apply to you, you will have to agree to the updated Subscriber Agreement as part of your switch and it will apply to you immediately.
This notice provides only a summary of certain key changes to our Subscriber Agreement. We encourage you to review the updated Subscriber Agreement in full and save a copy for your files. Once effective, it will govern your use and enjoyment of your Disney+ subscription. We are as committed as ever to making sure you have an enjoyable streaming experience. Please visit our Help Center for more information about your subscription.
We have highlighted below some of the changes to our Subscriber Agreement for your reference:
• We’re reflecting that with the launch of the ad-supported tier, subscriptions to the Disney+ streaming service may be offered in service tiers that differ, including with respect to pricing, eligibility, restrictions, device availability and features (including concurrent streams and temporary downloads).
• We’re explaining that subscriptions to various service tiers or promotional offers will be subject to additional terms and disclosures presented during the sign-up and subscription process and further information may be provided in related FAQs in our Help Center.
• We’re updating the arbitration agreement to be more specific about the procedures for resolving any disputes relating to your subscription and our service.
• We’re implementing restrictions on your ability to share your account or login credentials outside of your household. For further information, please refer to the FAQs in our Help Center.

For all existing subscribers (except Quebec residents): If you do not wish to accept these changes to our Subscriber Agreement, visit disneyplus.com/account to cancel your subscription before the changes come into effect. By continuing to use the Disney+ service after these changes come into effect, you will be indicating your acceptance of the updated Subscriber Agreement.
For Quebec residents only: If you do not wish to accept these changes to our Subscriber Agreement, visit disneyplus.com/account to cancel your subscription without cost or penalty, no later than 30 days after the changes come into effect.
