We went to see Lana del Rey last night. She is *not* my thing, and I like a lot of different types of music, but I just don't get it.

Sold out show, and probably 60-70% were 16-28 year old girls (most of them in white dresses with pig tails - which LDR came out dressed in as well). I have never - *never* - seen so many people taking selfies and having others taking pictures of them posing for 20-30 pictures all over the place. But the music - we only stayed for 4 or 5 songs. They were all super slow, piano ballads. (I get and like slow songs or ballads mixed in, but it seemed like her whole thing was sleepy.) She had a good (not great) voice, and the backup singers sounded fantastic, but I'm obviously not a 16-28 year old girl at heart, I guess.
