Hear me out. Shohei will win but only because MYP has become MIS (Most Impressive Statistics).

The Angels sucked with him and they suck without him. His value on the Angels is negligible.
The Orioles have won 100 games. Without Gunnar they might have been in a dogfight with the Rays but they still would contend.
The Ms are only this close to the playoffs with J-Rod. Without him, this year they'd be hanging out with the Angels. Most Valuable Player
