There's a column linked from the crossword main page - there are a lot of good insights in there, as well as hints to solving (clues early in the week are much more straightforward than later in the week; beware of words that can act as both nouns and verbs; pay attention to capitalization)

The crossword has deepened my appreciation for how weirdly complex the English language can be
