From a non-partisan view point, can anyone explain the best way out of the Speaker mess?....

Like I want to know what the best result is for the US government to get its work going again.

I know something more than Republicans bad, Democrat's good, and I want a level headed opinion of how the US does not keep having these antics and they get on with the actual job of governing.
