In response to "JD is not crazy like a pineapple." by Spawn

I'm going with that I ate my lifetime's worth of pineapple before I was in junior high -- (edited)

I have plenty of memories of eating pineapple and enjoying it but there was apparently a point in my life when enough was enough.

On the other hand, I'm old enough that shaved coconut was a thing for use in frostings. I very specifically remember stylized rabbit cakes around Easter and the pink textured frosting was textured by shaved? shredded? coconut that had been dyed. I'm fairly sure that I cried the first time that I tried that as I simply could not with that texture. I got a little older and gave it another try and got as far as realizing that not exactly a fan of the taste of the coconut and *shudder* the texture still as bad I remember. I'm a bit better now with cuisines that use coconut (Thai as example) as part of their flavor profiles but there's so many other things to drink so no pina coladas.
