Decided to try watching LOST with my son. The first episode (half of pilot) went well, so, I have a decision to make.

All episodes are free on freevee (Amazon Prime), but the ads are loooong (maybe 8 ad breaks totalling 12 minutes on 42 minutes of show?) and intrusive (frequent, and not timed with original ad breaks).
LOST is streaming on Hulu (to which I don't currently subscribe, but plan to try at some point). Not sure what the ad situation there is.
Alternately, you can buy Season One on Amazon or YouTube ($25 for HD; $20 for SD). Who TF is buying SD anymore? There should be a 4K option available for an upcharge.
What would you recommend?
Also, I have never done a LOST rewatch, and I am psyched my son may be into it. ("it's kinda like Stranger Things, but on an island!")

Do Hulu. I've watched and completed so many series on there, even though it's been a couple years. -- nm*

I missed this earlier, I like hulu even with ads (they nicely tell you how long they are); and, if you can wait a bit, they usually have black friday/

I loved LOST. sure they dragged it out at the start, but once they had their end date it was gangbusters with some of my all-time favorite TV stuff -- nm
