inexplicably super short notice, so empty chairs because of conflicts; no one asked me who I’d like to invite nor restaurant, so it was a not-so-good place with some people I wouldn’t have included - but fewer empty chairs! it was ok, just weird.
I’ve coordinated some similar gatherings over the years - I’ve always asked what’s wanted, because I actually want the target to be happy. ;p
