I'm interested in this outcome. They used EPA rating tools/procedures for determining their range.

I expect the real answer is they chose the upper part of the results and it's accurate under ideal circumstances, but very few drivers experience those conditions. Some of it is driver choice, such as speed, some of it is road conditions.

The cars have a screen that will show you where your power use is going and how it affects range. And it is compared to the estimated range on a graph so you can see when you are being more or less efficient than the estimate.
