Yes, for Rock Band 2. Not for Rock Band 1. And it doesn't seem to go the other way (RB controllers don't work with GH). -- nm

Yes. It says it works with RB2, but not RB.

Rent or borrow the game before you buy it. I think we had a similar experience with my inlaw's Wii and GH/RB. -- nm
