I'm still enjoying Starfield. Some fun stuff and some complaints.

I got yelled at by a companion for shooting first when robots geared up to eliminate me but hadn't fired yet.

There's a photographer I keeping encounter who's just out taking pics of the universe.

The ground maps are beyond stupid. Especially in cities/large habs. Seriously, you can't tell me maps of New Atlantis, etc wouldn't exist.

This is the third Bethesda game with the essentially same storage categories. A few more categories would be nice.

I loved that ships can be customized. Doing it is fiddly as hell and you often can't tell what the interior connections look like until you've committed to the design and paid for the changes. Getting things to line up should be easier and the highlighted connection points should actually accept the part in hand instead of being lit up for no reason.

Base building continues to suck. It called a grid, Bethesda, and we should be able to get a bird's eye view of an Outpost with the ability to place items that way.

Ditto interior items. I loathe things that font line up. More things should snap to fit with each other and with hab walls.

The companion chatter gets old fast because they have too few phrases.

I like to collect things. Right now it is hats, the square food tins, coffee mugs, and Boom Pop flavors. But it's too easy to find all the varieties very early in the game. Some of these things should only show up with specific factions or in specific cities.

If you encounter a certain structure it will always be the same layout down to the items you can grab and their locations. Things in chests will be more random, but locker contents and stuff on tables is always identical.

The 200 year old generation ship has the same art assets for interior fittings such as tables and lockers, etc as every other ship/location. That's some weak ass game design.

The random "flavor" encounters are fun. Grandma was fun to meet. As was Juno.
