A few months back I mentioned here a married couple who if/when either partner is eliminated, they both leave and turn in whatever chips.
Last night, I was at the table with them both. I fold A4o and the husband calls. Wife folds. Two others are in the hand. Flop is 844.
The first guy bets sizably…the wife leans over to husband and loud enough says, aww, I folded a 4. The husband then thinks and calls the bet. Hand plays out and the husband ends up losing.
I calmly say to her, “ you shouldn’t talk about what you folded when someone’s still in the hand.”
“I didn’t!”
“Ma’am, he called after you said it. It’s just an etiquette thing, I’m not angry or mad.”
Husband gets pissed at me. “How dare you tell my wife what to do?!” -type shit.
“Now, I’m mad. You’re short-stacked, you both want to leave now before you wreck anyone else’s evening by playing stupid?”
Tournament director starts over…and dude hastily mumbles an apology before busting in two hands and dragging his wife off.

And in this 12 week session, this other guy has beaten me with sets…3 times. My 99 beaten by KK(k on flop)
My 44(4 on flop) vs his AA(A on flop)
And last night my KK cracked by 66(6 on the flop)
