Doha does have good lounges, but no. compact and easy to get around, good non-lounge services, fast no-nonsense security, genuinely helpful staff.

Changi probably has the best whisky selection outside of Scotland (especially now that Hong Kong is a shadow of its former self) which puts it a small step above Doha, which is still way better than I expected for alcohol selection. Dubai has terrible duty free, and I figured Doha would be worse. it very much isn't.
