It's so hard to say since we don't have any comparison for this in MLB history.

He was actually excellent during the second half of the season in the minors. When he pitched for Atlanta, he seemed tentative.
I'd probably bet on the person here and extend him. However, I suspect he'll have a redemption year in either 2024 or 2025 in a different uniform.
But I readily acknowledge it's just as likely something else happens that knocks him out for another year.
