Hey! It would've been a complete pain in the ass to run a water line to freezer so I have ice trays to make ice.

er, wait.
I might be proving the point 8-P
and why stop at turning off the ice maker? Take that non-functioning, space eating piece of machinery out of the freezer and free up more usable volume in the freezer
